ABOUT THIS BOOKLET
This booklet is intended for people who use methamphetamine. It combines scientific research, harm reduction techniques, and advice provided by meth users themselves to help people make safer choices around their drug use. Through harm reduction we meet people where they’re at without judgement, providing information and resources to help reduce the harms associated with inherently risky activities.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
ANKORS would like to thank our service users who openly shared their experiences and knowledge about the highs and lows of methamphetamine use. The information contained here would not be possible without their valuable input.
We would also like to acknowledge the following researchers, organizations, and online resources whose work we pooled in writing this booklet. These include: Dr. Carl Hart (Columbia University), CATIE, Waterloo Region Integrated Drug Strategy, Tweaker.Org, The Drug Policy Alliance, ACT Toronto, and Erowid. And finally, ANKORS respectfully acknowledges both the Sinixt and Ktunaxa First Nations on whose territories we reside.
